All staff was impeccable, so courteous Special mention to Tan, who went way beyond the call of duty and even stopped to gently and unobtrusively offer to help us in the supermarket downstairs when he was off duty but saw that we were trying to decipher the ingredients on a package. Breakfast was delicious. Got to choose between two options - traditional Japanese and buffet style. The room was super spacious and clean. A lot of hotels in Japan can feel really small, but this was the perfect size to layout a large suitcase and still have room to walk comfortably. The view was really great! The location was right next to Shin-Kobe so even if you have a lot of luggage, getting to the hotel was super fast and easy. It also not too far from the harbor if you wanted to do some shopping and walkable distance to the historical neighborhood Kitano Ijinkan. For the price, I feel that it was a great value and felt more luxurious than I expected even though I was staying in the more basic rooms.

We arrived by shinkansen to the Shin Kobe station which is adjacent to the Crown Plaza. The twin room was a good size and the bathroom was roomy and clean though a little dated. The pillows were the softest we had on this trip where most of the pillows are rock hard. We were mostly satisfied with our short one night stay.

Close to Shin-Kobe train station and ropeway to Nunobiki Herb Garden. Good breakfast. Staff were attentive, courteous and efficient. Parking available
